Easily accessible from the M25 and A22, Ardenrun Farm is reached via a private shared driveway off Tandridge Lane. We kindly ask visitors to drive slowly and be mindful of our neighbours as you approach.
About the Event
As daylight softens into dusk, join us for a guided twilight walk through the fields, woodland edges, and wetlands of Ardenrun Farm. This is a chance to experience the land at its most atmospheric — when birds settle, bats begin to stir, and the subtle rhythms of the evening come alive. Moving at a gentle pace, we’ll pause to listen, observe, and reflect on the changing light and the wildlife that thrives in this in-between hour.
What To Expect
We will begin with a brief welcome and introduction before setting out on a relaxed circular walk across the estate. Along the way, we’ll stop at key habitats to observe wildlife activity, discuss seasonal changes, and share insights into the ecology of the farm. As darkness deepens, we’ll slow our pace, allowing time to listen for owls, watch for bats overhead, and experience the landscape in its quieter, more contemplative state.
Before You Arrive
This is an outdoor walking event taking place at dusk and into early evening. Please wear sturdy footwear suitable for uneven ground and bring weather-appropriate clothing, including an extra layer as temperatures can drop after sunset. A small torch is recommended for the final stretch of the walk, though we encourage minimal light use to preserve night vision and avoid disturbing wildlife.
